Super Reincarnation is a gameplay feature available in Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, serving as a replacement of the Reincarnation system from other games.

Like regular Reincarnation, it makes a character go back to level 1 while gaining various bonuses. However, instead of the stat bonuses being directly based on the character's level and stats, a new currency called Karma is used to pay for them. Additionally, a character gains a random Evility(see list here) each time they reincarnate.

Karma[]

Karma is a character-specific currency that is used to pay for base stats boost and other enhancements during Super Reincarnation.

There is a limit to how much Karma a character can keep stored at a time, and it can be increased by achieving certain D-Merits. Any Karma obtained while the character at their limit will simply be lost.

There is 2 ways to obtain Karma: The first method is by clearing certain D-Merits, as many of them give Karma as a reward. The second method is by using Super Reincarnation, as every time a character performs one they gain Karma depending on their level and the selected quality.

Karma can be used to permanently increase a character's base stats, with higher stats costing more Karma to increase. Additionally, various other bonuses and increases to secondary stats can be selected during the process.

Higher levels of a same bonus type require paying for the lower level first, and their effects stack.
