Squads are a character grouping feature available in Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.

Each unit can be assigned to one of many squads that are unlocked throughout the game. Every squad has different effects which may give bonuses to their members, to all ally units, or even improve facilities at the base. Note that a squad needs to have at least one member in order to activate its effects, even those whose effects don't depend on the number of members.

One member of each squad will be assigned as its Leader, with the effect of some squads being based around the Leader unit. Additionally, the Leader gets a 1% stats boost per squad member.

Experience stocked at the Juice Bar can be used level up Squads. As each squad gains levels it obtains new effects or improves the effects it already has.
