The Slumber Cat is a recurring monster class in the Disgaea series, first introduced in Phantom Brave, and its first appearance in a Disgaea game is Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice.

Makai Kingdom introduced a much more demonic version of the Slumber Cat, called the Deathsaber.

Appearance[]

It is a small feline creature that resembles a child in a catsuit rather than an actual cat. Nevertheless, the Slumber Cat is still pretty dangerous due to its claws and quick reflexes. Its cute appearance causes those attacking to falter and pull their punches.

Characteristics[]

Slumber Cats are kept as pets. They appear to be affectionate, through deep down they plan to overtake their masters. They have many fans due to their cute cry and soft fur.

Gameplay[]

As fighters, Slumber Cats tend to have low HP and defense, but their high speed and long movement range usually allows them to get the first hit in, while a high strength stat often means that first hit is all they need to destroy an opponent.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice[]

The Slumber Cat appears in Disgaea 3 as a common monster class. They can Magichange into fists.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten[]

The Slumber Cat appears in Disgaea 4 once again as a common monster class and is acquired at the beginning of the game. The Slumber Car obtained in the beginning was given to Valvatorez because it was convicted of stealing his sardines, it is appropriately named "Sardine Thief" by default. They Magichange into guns.

Phantom Brave[]

This is the Slumber Cat's debut game. Here, once unlocked, the monster specializes in Nature abilities, dabbles in Physical abilities, and its SPD is its dominant statistic, allowing it to act fast.

Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger VS. Darkdeath Evilman[]

The Slumber Cat appears like a enemy in many stages, its special ability allows it to steal items from the Main Character, running away after they successfully steal it, defeating them will drop the stolen item. Their ranks are the Nekomatas.
