Rosen Queen Company is the store branch in the Disgaea series. Every game has 2 or 3 shops in the main hub where the player may spend HL to buy Weapons, Accessories and consumable Items.
The name is a reference to the shop run by Etoile Rosenqueen's family in Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure.
The specific branch of the company is adjusted to the setting of the game, being the Netherworld Branch in Disgaea 1, D2 and 6, the Veldime Branch in Disgaea 2, the Evil Academy Student Store in Disgaea 3, the Hades Branch in Disgaea 4, the Pocket Netherworld Branch in Disgaea 5, and the Special Pop-Up Branch in Disgaea 7.
Customer/Product Rank[]
Disgaea 1 to 4[]
- Customer Rank: Buying items fills a gauge and selling items depletes it, increasing Customer Rank by 1 each time it completely fills up(selling does not decrease the rank). The max rank is 12.
- Product Rank: A couple of bills can be passed at the Dark Assembly to increase or decrease Product Rank by 1, but it cannot become higher than the Customer Rank. Higher Product Rank adds better and more expensive items to the shop's inventory but removes the weaker ones.
Disgaea D2 onwards[]
- Customer Rank: Buying items fills a gauge, increasing Customer Rank by 1 each time it completely fills up. As Customer Rank increases, purchase prices go down while selling prices go up.
- Product Rank: A bill can be passed at the Dark Assembly to increase Product Rank by 1, adding better and more expensive items to the shop's inventory. Product Rank cannot exceed the current Episode number.
- In Disgaea 5, Product Rank will automatically increase by 1 at the start of Episodes 2 and 3.
Duplication Glitch[]
In Disgaea 4 there is a glitch which allows duplicating any item. Note that this only works in unpatched versions, as the latest patch removes the glitch.
The player must first follow these steps: fill up the inventory and warehouse, enter the Item World of the item to duplicate, obtain any item to fill the inventory again, leave the Item World without using a Mr. Gency's Exit.
After the player leaves the Item World, they will receive a message saying they must go to a Rosen Queen Store and pick up the item they were levelling up. Sell any unnecessary items first and buy the item to duplicate through Try On. Leave the store and re-enter and the item will be there again, and the player can duplicate as much as they want as long as they keep buying the Item through Try On.
