Minor Characters

On top of the major characters, the Disgaea series features many minor characters that progress the storyline in small ways, occasionally providing insight into a character's past or helping with the plot in some form. This page contains a list of those characters.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

• Krichevskoy's Vassals - The various servants and shopkeepers left behind in the Overlord's Castle. They can be battled in the Cave of Ordeals (Afternoon of Darkness and DS versions only).
• Porkmeiser - The son of Hoggmeiser and a Nether Noble. Porkmeiser stands up for his father after he loses the fight against Laharl. In the anime, his role is slightly expanded upon.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories

• Director: The Director and a Zombie cameraman follow Axel around everywhere he goes. It is also the Director, with help from Axel's brother, that encourages Axel to help out Adell in the final chapter.
• Axel's Family: Axel's brothers Axial, Axeleration, Axident, sister Axril, and mother Axahontas. The family has a pet Catsaber and neighbors.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice

• Vato Brothers: Consisting of Chewie, Cholo and Churro. In the English version of the game, they tend to speak in Mexican terms, often using the battle cry "Muchachos!".
• PTA: Standing for Perfectly Trained Assassins. They work for the School Board, and captures any Delinquents, torturing them with physical abuse.
• School Board President
• Gold Knuckle, known for his golden-colored armor and hair. He often use the term 'knuck' in some words.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten

• The Three Brutes: Three high level demons who serve under president Hugo. They have spread great fear throughout the Human World.
• The Four Devas: Four demons who guard the four gates of the Netherworld, one for each of the cardinal directions.
• The Seven Yakshas: Seven legendary demons who can turn the world into nothingness in seven days.
• The Ten Overlords: Ten demons who orchestrate all the evil in the Netherworld. They are second only to the president.

Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness

• Hoggmeiser
• Archangel Virunga: A newly appointed Archangel.
• Porkmeister: The son of Hoggmeiser. At this timeline, he was shown to have grown up to look almost like his father, albeit his high-pitched voice standing out.
• Lanzarote: A famous idol singer and Archer, with the ability to use mind-altering songs and support magic. Children everywhere know her name. Sicily in particular is a big fan.

Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance

• Void's Secretaries: Members of The Lost in charge of serving Void Dark and relaying information. They often get killed one by one, either by Void Dark or by other means, and quickly get replaced by another.
• Panchos: The head underling in Red Magnus' Netherworld. Tired of Red Magnus' selfish attitude, he ends up defecting and joining The Lost.
• Christo's Superior: A high-rank angel that still trusts Christo and regularly contacts him to keep him informed of Celestia's plans.
• Usalia's Parents: The former rulers of Toto Bunny. They were forced to work for Majorita to protect Usalia and their people, but ended up being turned into zombies anyway.
• Seraphina's Father: The former Overlord of Gorgeous, before Seraphina ordered him to hand her the title. He's a coward who left his Netherworld bankrupt after building a defense system against Void Dark.
• Logan: A Wrestler, and Overlord of Blood Parch. He initially fights our heroes thinking they're enemies, but after being defeated can be recruited as a character.
• Geese: A Chimera, and Overlord of Spirit Internment. He was killed and reanimated by Majorita. After defeating him, our heroes convince him to join them, even as he remains an undead.
• Hedler: A Winged Warrior, and Overlord of Poisondise. He joins our heroes after they help him defend his world.
• Erynder Z: A Shroom, and Overlord of Demunshroom. He does not take part in the story, but can be recruited after defending his world.
• Izuna: A Nine-Tails, and daughter of Overlord Drumdawn. She's working as Dragon Fang's Chief while her father recovers. She joins the party after saving her world.
• Drumdawn: A Twin Dragon, and Overlord of Dragon Fang. After saving his world, he awakens from his slumber and can be recruited as a character.
• Brave: A Bear, and Overlord of Fortress De Gaulle. After saving him and his world, he can be recruited as a character.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny

• Hero Yarmada: A human Warrior from Misedor's world that is able to revive thanks to Misedor's royal ability. After repeatedly losing to the God of Destruction he's become a shut-in who mooches off Misedor as much as he can.
• Naive: Melodia's twin sister who always lived under her sister's shadow so nobody noticed her existence. This has warped her personality and she now wants the God of Destruction to bring a Bad Ending where everyone will be equally happy.
• Ruffian Red: A Psychic from an evil organization that opposes the Prism Rangers. He starts as a nameless underling but later rises to become the leader of the Ruffian Rangers.
• Lemisera: An inexperienced but earnest Witch that studied at the Magimage School of Magic. She was one of Majolene's students, but she died during a magic exam after summoning a Dragon and failing control it.
