Unlocking Classes[]

The default classes you can choose from include Warrior, Valkyrie, Martial Artist, Fight Mistress, Magician, Witch, Clergy, Cleric, Maid, and Prinny. In a departure from the traditional approach in previous Disgaea games, the process of unlocking classes is now exclusively tied to the game's innovative Quest system. Regardless of whether they are humanoid or monster classes, each one necessitates the completion of a specific quest to become available for selection.

Unlocking Humanoid Classes[]

Unlocking Humanoid classes involves achieving specific ranks of Class Proficiency with other classes. Each quest, excluding one, becomes available as soon as you attain proficiency in its relevant classes.

Here are the classes, followed by their quest's name and requirements:

  • Thief: "Stealing Specialist" - Rank 2 Martial Artist or Fight Mistress
  • Gunner: "Seeking Partner" - Rank 2 Warrior or Valkyrie, Rank 2 Magician or Witch
  • Archer: "Hunter Intern" - Rank 2 Warrior or Valkyrie, Rank 2 Clergy or Cleric
  • Professor: "Samples Wanted!" - Rank 2 Gunner, Rank 2 Maid
  • Ninja: "Assassinations" - Rank 2 Thief, Rank 3 Martial Artist or Fight Mistress
  • Lady Samurai: "Valuing Loyalty" - Rank 2 Archer, Rank 3 Warrior or Valkyrie
  • Armor Knight: "Impregnable Guard" - Rank 3 Warrior or Valkyrie, Rank 3 Martial Artist or Fight Mistress
  • Magic Knight: "Magical Warrior" - Rank 3 Warrior or Valkyrie, Rank 3 Magician or Witch

  • Sage: "Clandestine Child" - Rank 2 Professor, Rank 4 Magic Knight
  • Celestial Host: "Celestial Messenger" - Episode 11. Rank 2 Magic Knight, Rank 3 Clergy or Cleric
  • Fake Asagi: "Asagi's Future" - Recruit the real Asagi and raise her level to 500

Unlocking Monster Classes[]

Unlocking Monster classes involves a diverse set of requirements, predominantly focused on item deliveries. Each quest becomes accessible in the Episode immediately following the one where you first encounter that particular class.

Here are the classes, along with their respective quest names and requirements:

  • Orc: "Orc Pride" - Episode 2. Deliver 1 item of any type
  • Imp: "Pranking Footsteps" - Episode 2. Deliver 1 item of any type
  • Undead: "Let's Dance" - Episode 3. Deliver 1 Physical Monster Weapon
  • Sludge: "Secret to Jiggling" - Episode 3. Deliver 1 Unopened Soda
  • Winged Warrior: "No Ordinary Bug!" - Episode 4. Defeat 1 Archer
  • Flora Beast: "Opening Up" - Episode 4. Deliver 4 healing items
  • Slumber Cat: "Cute Animal, Meow" - Episode 4. Deliver 1 Sardine
