List of Weapons and Weapon Skills found in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice.

Information

Location: Weapons up to Rank 30 can be bought in the main hub, and their corresponding Product Ranks are listed in the Shop column. Weapons up to rank 39 can be obtained as rewards in stages(regular or Item World) of sufficiently high Bonus Rank, via either treasure chests, Bonus Gauge prizes or stealing, however Ranks 35+ only appear while in the Land of Carnage. Rank 40 must be stolen from the Item God of the Rank 39 weapon of the same type while in LoC. Absence of Detention added an additional Rank 40 weapon, which must be stolen from the Item God 2 of the original Rank 40 one.

Skills: Tiers 1 through 6 can be bought in the Evility Shop, available according to each character's Weapon Forte. Tiers 7 and 8 are learned from a special room inside the Class World.

Fist

Damage is based on the average of ATK and SPD. Increases Counter by 2. Skills are short-ranged, and usually move the target around.

Sword

Damage is based on ATK. A simple weapon without bonuses or penalties. Their skills cover all sorts of ranges and areas of effect.

Bow

Damage is based on the average of ATK and HIT. Attacks have long range(usually 4 for normal attacks) and can target in any direction. Skills are not very powerful, but have long range and usually hit multiple targets.

Trivia

Due to a mistranslation in the English version of the game, many of the lower-level swords are called by generic names, such as "katana" or "rapier". But the sai, rather than simply being called a sai, is called a "Rhino" instead. (This is because the Japanese word for rhinoceros is "sai".)
