“Let the concert begin!”
—Lanzarote, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness

Lanzarote (Sometimes referred to as Lanza) is a Netherworld singing idol and playable character in Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Using her popularity as an idol to amplify her vocal mind-control powers, she intends to gain Overlordship.

Story[]

Lanzarote serves as the final boss of the fourth episode. Upon revealing her plan to use her powers to seize the throne, Laharl-chan declares her pre-established intention to defeat Lanzarote and seize her popularity, despite protests from Sicily. After she is defeated, Laharl attempts to deal the killing blow, but is stopped by Sicily, who pleads with Laharl to forgive her. Begrudgingly, Laharl appoints Lanzarote as Sicily's caretaker, effectively drafting her into servitude. Lanzarote has no role in the story afterwards and isn't mentioned again.

Personality[]

Lanzarote is revealed as selfish and manipulative. Her mind-control powers make her very charismatic, while her singing and training show determination. Little else has been revealed aside from these traits.

Gameplay[]

Lanzarote is a re-color of the Archer class. a character that is a contradiction of sorts. While she functions similarly to an Archer in terms of application, she is actually a superior Gun-toting character. She joins the party the moment Episode 4 is completed and begins with Level two Likeability with Sicily.

Other Appearances[]

Disgaea RPG[]

Lanzarote appears as an enemy Boss NPC character during the Main Story Season 2 Episode 6.
