Overlord Ivar is a character from Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. He is the self-proclaimed "Greatest and Most Powerful Overlord in the Entire Universe". While it is true that he is extremely powerful, his apparent lack of intelligence undermines his credibility.

To the rest of the group, he appears to be an idiot despite his power as the overlord. He is very fond of Bieko as he used to have a little sister of his own that died of an illness which is the main reason that he cannot see her as a stranger.
Story[]
Ivar is the overlord and head of the Darkest Assembly and has listened to the entirety of Zed and his party's story about Bieko throughout the first act of the story, which he becomes teary-eyed. In the second half, he becomes an ally and will do anything to rescue Bieko from Cerberus's clutches when she is kidnapped by Cerberus. After figuring out that Cerberus is Super Sage Misual, Ivar confesses that he allowed him to conduct research on Gods of Destruction beneath his castle before the game's events. He banished Misual before he could create one and cause havoc. Ivar would later find Misual in Misual's laboratory and the two ended up fighting each other with Ivar as the victor. As a result, Misual left the castle and had Bieko transplant his brain into a dog's which ultimately ends up being Ivar's fault in the first place for hurting the two siblings.
