Flonne asks Etna why Laharl is so stubborn. Etna says he's always been like that, which Flonne finds hard to believe. The Angel Trainee points out that Laharl's emotions are slowly changing. However, 'Love' is apparently not yet within reach. Etna suggests that asking for love from a demon might be a bit ridiculous. But Laharl might be a unique case, because of his heritage. His mother, a human witch, was also a firm believer in love, even for demons. After the Queen died, Laharl banished all love and kindness from his life.
