The Cheerleader (also known as the Idol) is a class introduced in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice.

Cheerleaders are young girls with Pink/Light Purple Hair, extremely skimpy outfits and high platform shoes. Cheerleaders worship a God of Beauty and Wealth and are apparently on good terms with their counterparts, the Sorcerers.

This class is known for being the only class dedicated to the use of Support Skills such as Braveheart, the closest counterpart to them in future games being the Professors. Her native Evility "Lovely Song" can also increase her allies' Stats. Cheerleaders can also use class-exclusive support skills such as Move Up. Cheerleaders are proficient in both Staff weapons and Gun weapons.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention

In the Vita port, the Cheerleader gets access to 1 new class based skill, "Let's go Chachacha". The skill has a range of 6 (straight) panels and grants the target a bonus turn. This skill will only work once per target per turn.
