Their Bow usage is rather lackluster. While the Hosts' HIT Aptitude is high, her ATK remains at 100% until the final tier; (In which it becomes 110%) making them about as physically powerful as a Thief or Healer. (Though through Reincarnation or grinding, they can become powerful Gun-users with their high HIT Aptitude)

The Hosts' special ability consists of reducing the amount of elemental damage adjacement allies take by 20%. This makes them powerful defensive compliments to Magic Knights who not only deal more Elemental Damage, but alsso have skills that can increase Elemental Resistances. Combining these two classes' special abilities can potentially make enemy magic attacks nigh useless.

Main article: Celestial Host

The Celestial Host is a humanoid class exclusive to Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. They are unlocked in Axel Mode after Main Hero B joins Axel's party. Compared to their original appearance in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the Celestial Host are much more toned down, only be proficient in Staves and Bows, and only receive the tier 1 elemental and healing spells.

In fact, the Celestial Host seems to be designed with Magic completely in mind, as the strongest Aptitudes of the Celestial Host lie in their INT, RES, and SP. (140% SP Aptitude and 130% INT/RES Aptitudes for final tier) which makes them VERY powerful Mages.
