An Aqua Demon in Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories.

The Aqua Demon is a recurring monster class in the Disgaea series first introduced in Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories.

The Aqua Demon is a fat salamander-looking slug with simple arms and small legs with two smaller claws on them. It has no eyes, preventing it from seeing, but it has feelers on its back and head which allow it to sense water flow and small movements in the air. They also have a small but bulky tail.

In its default coloration their bodies are mostly blue with a greenish-white underbelly. Their feelers are yellow-orange, and the claws on their legs are white.

Aqua Demons live deep underwater. They have no eyes due to them devolving over time. The feeler horns on their heads and backs evolved in order to allow them to feel the flow of water and small movement in the air. They also have an organ that emits electricity. They hide underwater and jump on wanderers to eat them.

Aqua Demons specialize in Intelligence based attacks, with high Int base stats and aptitudes, and Special Techniques that use the Int stat for damage calculations. They have poor Hit and Spd stats and aptitudes, but their other stats are average. In addition, they have high resistance to Ice attacks, with a 75% resistance in Disgaea 3, and a special ability that makes them take zero damage from Ice attacks in Disgaea 2.
